If you have access to any, clove oil can help. It and orajel got me through about two weeks of constant pain.

Been there. Multiple times.
Is it to the point where it feels like a red hot pin stabbing into your jaw/skull? Where the pain swells up just taking a breath where the air rushing in crosses over the bad tooth?

You're not going to want to hear it (god knows I didn't) but the only solution is going to be going to a dentist and first off getting a pain killer prescription. Tylenol with codeine. Mine told me I could take 4x the recommended amount of basic tylenol on top of the prescription ones for a few days to take the pain off quicker. It did work.

But at the end of the day it will need to get a root canal.

Try the 4x tylenol in the meantime. Maybe play it safe and do 3x first. Or stick to the Orajel.
You can try putting a piece of ice on it or biting down on a whole clove. That's what my old aunts recommended as home remedies. They didn't work for me and only hurt more doing it. But that was me.
