Ontario has:

Beer Store. Sells Beer.

Wine Rack. Sells wine.

LCBO. Sells everything.

Apparently they were gonna sell beer in giant grocery stores. Don't know if that's a thing.

Other provinces? Anyone in Canada have liquor at gas stations?

Crazy how everything is privately owned in the States. I couldn't believe it. Makes it so much cheaper with insane variety.

Tons of Metros and Superstores in Ontario have the beer section now. Mississauga, Milton, Brampton, Oakville I think. prolly more.

Do you know any in the Toronto core? Can't travel to Sauga or Brampton, as cool as this is.

I thought Canada would have booze in every store. In the states I can go to a Home Depot and walk out with a 10 gallon bottle of liquor.

No way. It's all government owned, so no competition. Prices are high and the selection isn't that great.

I remember going to Buffalo. My first road trip to the States over 21.

Couldn't believe what was being sold. In our liquor store, there are probably 10 or so Gins (nowadays, used to be way less... probably around 6). The ljquor store in Buffalo had around 50 different gins.

And the price in Buffafo... I remember seeing low end gin for 5 USD (for a 26er). We sell those for 27 CAD. I know the exchange rate exists, but it's not THAT bad.

Basically, overprices up here. I don't drink since 2010 so I'm not affected as bad. But still.

We have BC Liquor Stores. http://www.bcliquorstores.com/

and a bunch of "Cold Beer and Wine" places, among other small liquor stores.

Groceries only have non-alcoholic.
