Except that nearly all of those things were created by Christian propaganda that culminated in wars against Vikings and resulted in the destruction of untold amounts of Norse culture and religious knowledge and rituals. Like, the only group they actively targeted that wasn't at war with them were Christians as a whole and that's because, like Christians in south and central America one day would do, they all but did a convert or die offer to Norse people. And as we know, Christian propaganda is responsible for many other cultures and civilizations being considered terrible. It just so happens that the Vikings actually had some serious battle capabilities and rich knowledge of the land and weather from generations of travel and trade.

So the pillaging monsters they're painted as is revisionist bs.
