Basically, a video of white supremacists beating a black man went viral. The media, especially outlets like The Young Turks, were saying it's an example of oppression and etc.

Then it turned out that the black man was charged with a felony. But new video evidence came out that shows that Deandre was actually the one who instigated the violence by attacking an elderly man and hitting him on the head with a steel flash light after trying to steal his Confederate flag. That's why he was attacked back and that's why he got the felony charge.

People donated $166,000 to Deandre's GoFundMe campaign after he put one together to ask for help with medical expenses, but it turns out Deandre used the money to buy a brand new Mercedes and make a rap video.

What's scary is the number of people on Youtube who are commenting and saying that they agree with what Deandre did and that they wish that he shot the old guy instead because "the only Nazi is a good Nazi" and things like that. It's scary how quickly people are becoming so hyper partisan and hyper politicized to the point where it feels like this country is about to get fractured into another civil war because of people who are quick to talk and quick to act.

what do you think about how the mainstream media was trying to paint it as an example of white supremacists attacking an innocent black dude who was passing by? Or the comments praising his actions because "the only Nazi is a dead Nazi"

He made a rap video with the donation? Ahahahha, of course he did. I know that when I'm hit on the head and need to go to the hospital, my priority is to become a rapper instead.

The only sad part about this is that those fools did not give him even more money, like in the millions. He could have been the next Jay Z, and all he would have needed was their life savings. (Btw, I never heard ab8ut that guy and did no research to confirm what you said, but I hope it's all true.)
