Due to various issues outside of the driver's control, the city bus arrives at the bus transit station 40 minutes later than it should have. As expected, there is a huge queue of people waiting there, and many of them are angry due to the fact that the lateness of the bus is affecting their own appointments. However, between trips, bus drivers are allowed to take a 15 minute break to eat, use the restroom, or just rest before making their next long trip.

Should the driver take their break, making the queue of people even more furious? Or should they skip their break, board the queue, and them immediately start their next trip?

Note that they cannot give free rides as an "apology", and there is no one else available to replace them on this trip.

.
(On another note, apparently, we can't use the words "t*rdy" or "t*rdiness" because the filter flags it as the word for mentally-challenged people. That's ridiculous.)

When you run on a schedule, the schedule takes priority over your breaks

No, they take their break after the completion of each trip, from one end of the route to the other.

Depends on how long the route is and how many stops they have to make. Could be two hours or more.
