SS is absolute garbage in every possible way. The "story", the villain, everything. The entire movie feels like a sequence of music videos meant to look cool but when put together it's just awful.
The only redeeming quality the movie has are the characters but those have existed for decades and their interpretation of them was still shit. BvS wasn't a good movie but it's leagues ahead of SS. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

Basically this. Its plot is tenuous and it takes too long to get the ball rolling. On top of that, the plot is terrible as a whole. Most of the characters are useless and their interpretations are incredibly off. The script sucked.
The pacing is awful. The entire first act is, like an hour long and still introducing the characters and the last two acts are just them wandering around a dark city with some fights sprinkled in every here and there. The characters sucked and a lot of them had nothing to do. The editing is some of the worst I've seen in a major motion picture (it was edited by a trailer house lol). The re-shoots really show in a lot of the scenes.
