This is something I was thinking about. Reacting to things has always been a thing. Think about it. Any sports news that happens you have multiple personalities reacting to it. Any regular news is the same. It's even the same with your friends. You see a video and you react to it a certain way. You say, "I got to show this to my friend." You do that to see how he reacts.

I know people say it's "content" with practically now work involved. However, they are playing into a thing that is heavily ingraved in our culture. It's smart.

Well, they're not usually live, genuine reactions. They've already seen the thing they're reacting to and now they're just watching it again and hamming it up for the camera.

because most of them barely even react or offer anything else towards the content...they're just showing someone else's video, making a strange face and going "haha..what!?"...for the entire time...its using someone else's work to get paid in that case...

there are some i've seen that actually pause the video and make jokes/comments about whats going on, which makes sense..its the ones who just play the whole video barely saying a word that gets criticized.

Then don't watch those kinds. I prefer those genuinely going in blind, coming up with theories and seeing what happens next
