I was working. The kitchen floor is made of terracotta tiles. I was drying my hands and my ring dropped from about waist height. It then bounced, higher than my waist and landed in the trash can I was standing near.

It was pretty cool to see.

All the acid in the soda keeps the floor spotless.

Your ring is trying to tell you it belongs in the garbage, ok?

My ring is tungsten carbide. It bounces like you wouldn't believe. The only two times I've ever bounced it were within my first month of marriage.

First was on my honeymoon in the Dominican Republic. We were out somewhere and I used the bathroom, then there wasn't anything to dry my hands. Again, I was new to wearing a ring, so when I shook my hands dry I didn't curl back that finger very hard. It bounced all over the place and my wife and I spend like two minutes searching for it. The second time, I was at work and the paper towels ran out in the bathroom. Same thing, basically. I spent another couple of minutes searching for it because tungsten rings will bounce like crazy.

The hardness of the surface it lands on has a direct effect on the bounce. Carpet is too soft.

Yeah, for me both times were onto concrete. It sounds like a pinball machine as it bounces around the room and off of objects. It's crazy how bouncy these rings are.
