I do it too. We were meant to be ninjas or hitmen. We are preternaturally silent and well timed. It's been a running joke for years with a couple of people I work with.

happens to me alot too. not to random people though co-workers, or family members when they'd be standing in the hallway talking for no good reason and I was just waiting to get by. but my step sister I would do it intentionally too but because she scares really easily. i'd damn near have my chest touching her back and just wait for her to turn around, more than once she slammed her face right into my chest turning around to walk somewhere.

at work it was funny though cause I wear boots to work in almost every job i've ever worked.

I refuse. i'm simply not going to change my walking habits cause some people spook too easily. unless I got a reason to get near you i'm not going to though as I hate getting within someone's "bubble, or personal space" unless of course I know you well enough and know you ain't going to turn around and stab me or some shit
