Caution999 10/06/17 10:20:58 AM #1:	I'm going to nominate WCW Mayhem (PS1, N64). The engine is so...oddly horrible, that it is actually good. And I only call it a "bad game" because when you compare WCW/nWo Revenge or World Tour or WWF No Mercy - it's a joke. Robin_Dude 10/06/17 10:24:04 AM #4:	Kritika Online. The combat is fun as shit, but the devs horribly fucked up and a large chunk of the playerbase quit. Caution999 10/06/17 10:48:07 AM #16:	I'll also say NES Superman. They were on the right track the first time with this one. Unfortunately, it's like Castlevania II with how much pointless dialogue there is. And remember the TMNT turtle van level? Yeah, the whole game has so many needless and pointless areas that you're never required to walk into. Magnify the Turtle van level by 100, and you got the entirety of NES Superman. There's also some cryptic stuff that you need to figure out - but it's not as bad as you think (certainly not on Simon's quest level). More or less, the dialogue is there to tell you where to go next. There's a couple spots where you might get lost. But....it is ...actually impressive imo. You get access to an entire city...in an NES game. If you look beyond the things that don't make sense (why he has to use the subway or run out of health, etc), you'll find it's actually...not that bad. The amount of areas you can get to in the game is rather staggering for NES standards. You can actually fly up every single building in the background. Unfortunately, 99% of them you just fly back down,...actually you may fly all of them back down. I'm not even sure. There may be a building in the game where you can fly up and see what's on top of it. There's underground areas. There's people you can help in fires/fighting off criminals (in random buildings) to upgrade your abilities. And you have a menu option of abilities.
