About $500. But i eat nearly 100% organic and this includes eating out like once a week and alcohol. 2 lbs of wild caught salmon sets me back about $40 alone and all that covers is my lunch protein for 5 days.

Just supermarket is probably $260 for 2 weeks.

Im also a casual bodybuilder so I eat enough for like 1.5 people. $350 for a house payment is the real ridiculous number here. My rent is $2,100 a month. You must live in the boondocks.

The grocery bill for my wife and I is about $250 a month. She cooks all the time so we're just buying fresh veggies and chicken breast most of the time. Wine is also factored into that $250. We go through around 3 bottles a week.

Aldi is a blessing. Great quality food at a low cost.

Mrs. DevsBro and I spend $240/mo on groceries, and another $100 eating out, which comes to about $85 apiece in two weeks.

But you can do a lot better. When we first got married, it was $160 a month for both of us with no eat out budget, which is $40 apiece for two weeks. Sucked but that's how it goes sometimes.

I adopted a fasting system, I eat one meal a day (dinner) consisting of whatever I want, this usually amounts to 2000-3000 calories per meal.

It took me awhile to get used to it, but it works great for me personally.

if I go into full beans & rice mode, I can feed myself for 2 weeks for about $30 total with the majority of that cost being spent on soda.

i should add that this wasnt just on food, i got the largest sizes of paper plates, plastic cutlery, trash bags, and plastic cups which all ran me about 10 each, not to mention other things i bought that trip such as tools. i spent about $75 and that should last me 3+ weeks. lunchables, frozen meals, eggs, cold cuts, drinks (including beer), tea, and snacks. if i really wanted to save i could start eating like i used to. spent $5 a week on spaghetti, salmon, and sauce from dollar tree

I can get dry beans here for $1.25 a pound approximately. 1 pound of dry beans makes enough food for several days even if you eat it for breakfast lunch and dinner due to the beans expanding.

costco is the answer, safeway charge ridiculously high prices on lunch meat, fries, cheese and premade chicken sandwich patties. i shop at safeway for everything else.
