And just because someone "follows" a religion does NOT mean they understand it. There are thousands of people who are supposedly devout religious people and yet don't understand a lot of things about chrisitanity, so I'm supposed to believe someone who has zero affiliation, or dropped it halfway through supposedly knows that much more? That was never part of my argument, but I did already explain based on what I know about the religion what my take on the topic is. Disagree with it, not sure what to tell you. Some random forum post isn't going to change what literal billions of people think (on either side).

I never claimed you in specific implied this. I said the topic has glossed over this detail since such an article is pushing for a narrative like this guy made a huge jump. Agnostic Theist to Theist isnt a big leap. And Agnostic Atheist to Theist, is a slightly bigger jump. Agnostics dont 100% reject the idea of gods existance so converting them isnt unfathomable.

600 deaths and injuries is a bit of a high price to pay for a convert to your religion of choice. Maybe God should have just not allowed the shooting to happen in the first place, but that would require him to exist AND actually be loving and omnipotent.

FYI Terra-enforcer, atheists don't spend their whole lives panicking about death. By the same token, Christians don't just "embrace" death. It tears families apart, it disrupts lives, it's not something to just embrace and say "well, I guess we might see each other again in 50+ years, maybe" especially since even within the bounds of Christianity you still don't know if you'll all end up in heaven. It's not like religious people don't fight death.

Moreover, when you don't even know if an afterlife exists, and you're in the middle of the only life you know you'll ever have, of course you should care about making the most of this life.

No, not sure if your reading comprehension is just that poor, but I already explained myself. And my reasoning is most definitely justified. I'm just wasting my time if I go back and forth with some child who thinks it's "cool" to call people triggered. Especially when it isn't remotely warranted. That, and several of your other posts tell me enough about your character to inform me that furthering this would be a waste of time.
