I'm surprised it doesn't happen more often, tbh. The strip is so congested all the time it would be too easy to do a lot of damage in a short amount of time.

I have this thought all the time. It's so fucking easy for things like these to happen.

It's a relief that it doesn't, which proves these lunatics are rare.

Yeah. Not even just the strip. When the San Bernardino shooting happen in '15 it ended literally right in front of my great aunt's house. We called her because we recognized the street from tv as it was happening. She was 87 and on the floor and bullets hit her house. It's my area. I remember thinking how much more damage could have been done even locally by those two.
They could have gone to the malls here and killed hundreds. Easily. It was at christmas. The open center in Redlands where they lived. The theater. A hs football game. It's insane to think they were right here and if it wasn't for that psycho witch snapping and deciding to off his coworkers who knows what the real target was for down the line.
