Is it the guns that somehow make a person more aggressive and prone to kill, or is it something underlying that makes a person push themselves more and more to kill their fellow man? Is it access to guns, or something more deeply rooted in someone's mind that finally pushes them over to commit murder, however they can? There's people that own dozens of guns, and thousands of rounds of ammo that have never hurt a person in their life, but others still that will seek out a firearm(legally or otherwise) to take out as many as they can. Disillusionment maybe? Sudden loss of humanity? Was it some kind of deep mental issue like the University of Texas shooter back in the '60s whose autopsy revealed an undiscovered brain tumor? Who knows.
