it makes Peter the same age as several younger characters like Miles Morales and Anya Corazon. people who are supposed be kids looking up to spiderman, not the same as him. and it turns Horizon Labs, a place Peter used to work at, into Horizon High, some science school. And his old boss from the comics is now just a principle. wtf. also it continues the trend of depicting Harry Osborn as a cool suave kid. just cause of the movies doing that. even though in the comics, Harry is even more nerdy and geeky than Peter was.

its a show for kids
kids don't know wtf spider-man was doing 40 years ago. they probably don't even know what he was doing last year. plus spider-man gets reinvented like every year due to his popularity. it'll be japanese highschool peter parker next.

When I was a kid the cartoon Spiderman I got was still older. It was a show for kids but Peter was in his 20's. Modern kids can't handle adult heroes and need to have everything dumbed down

I saw a preview for it and almost immediately hated Peter. He's so annoying and hyperactive. And he never shuts the fuck up, even when he isn't Spider-Man.
