I'm really thinking about just working 3 days of 10 hours shifts. I just need to find work that allows that.

In the end, it always seems like I'm wasting my own time at a full time job. There is so much empty time or I have to slow my work down.

I'd say find a job that let's you telework. That way if you have downtime you can do something else at home. Just make sure you're keeping an eye on work in case you're needed.

My standard of living is quite basic. The only thing I really spend money (besides bills) on is eating out and video games.

Im trying to convince my boss to let me do four 10 hour days. Much better imo.

Cost of living is quite high, so unless you are getting another income, via trust fund, welfare, etc., you'll need to work a full time job. And 40 hours, 5 days a week is easy.

Yeah 4 10s would be better. Hell, 3 12s would be cool. I just hate the concept our society has adopted of working 5 days a week.

I thought about 3 12s, but that is a bit much. I've worked 5 12-14s for the past 5 months and it's no bueno. It's physcial work though
