it always devolves into a shouting match. both sides try to talk over each other at the same time and then you can't even understand what either side is saying. why is everyone so stupid? I think whenever a debate devolves into that, it should just be ended, as a punishment and a lesson. have the moderator just cut off their mics instantly and say "shut the fuck up and learn to debate for next time. good bye" if this was the norm, people would learn to not do that
