Car dealers are a bunch of asses in my experience. Just go in with some research (find the exact value if you can) of the cars you're interested in and try to pay the price that the damn vehicle is worth. It's bullshit that you can over pay by thousands.

Most if not all states have mandatory dealership laws, though Tesla's been fighting those fairly successfully so maybe that'll mark the downfall of the monopoly. Car dealerships can be intimidating but if you do the research and go in knowing what you want and what to expect, the hardest part is just having the patience for all the paperwork and crap. It's a really easy process at its core. Good rule of thumb - watch out for dumb salespeople tactics and don't reward dealerships that employ them and you'll probably wind up with a pretty good deal and a satisfactory experience. ... If you feel like the car sales person is a dick, just request test drives and then leave. Waste his time.
I was looking for a new car and the honda dealer 20 minutes away has a wanker dick fuck manager. So i go the extra 40 minutes to the small city. The guys there are much more friendly and helpful. They explained everything in detail and never forced me to buy their cars. So i got my car there. The after services are also great. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!
