Darn it Redux, that sounds serious. SSRI is used for depression or as a treatment for chronic anxiety. The other drug I got is used when needed, if I get anxiety spikes or panic attacks, it's pretty much the same substance as normal allergy medicine. When you start SSRI the depression and anxiety can get much worse for the next 2 weeks initially. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

hopefully you don't get the sexual side effects. when i tried SSRIs they made it nearly impossible to climax - and that was back when i was young and interested in sex lol As for side effects go that is one of the worst things to happen for me. Sexual side effects for SSRIs are like a 70% chance IIRC. You're lucky if you don't get any, and that number is probably higher just due to people not reporting it.
You also have the chance for lingering sexual side effects after stopping, which I and many others had. For more than 6 months it fucked with my libido and ability to experience pleasure from orgasm. More than a year later I'd still say it psychologically fucked my whole system up and I can't quite get it back to how it was before. --- SIG SIG SIG SIG SIG SIG SIG SIG SIG SIG SIG SIG SIG SIG SIG SIG SIG SIG SIG SlG SIG SIG SIG SIG SIG SIG SIG SIG SIG SIG SIG SIG SIG SIG SlG ... Eh, don't worry too much because it's an SSRI. They're prescribed for a wide range of things. Depression, anxieties, psychoses etc..
Remember it can take between a week or month before your mind and body get used to it. If you start having issues with it, contact your Doctor. With that said. I know what you guys are talking about with the sexual side effects. I took Paroxetine (Paxil) for about a month. I soon referred to my problem as having Paxil d***. Sexually frustrated most of the day and it would take me like 2-3 hours to get a release. I almost spent money on a cam site during this period lol --- Not changing sig until I decide to change my sig Started: 01-08-11 ... Copied to Clipboard!

Fuck give it a trial like others have said. if you notice it (it'll happen fast, i only need to take it once or twice for ssri-dick to kick in) ask to switch to something else since you said your sexual health is important. i shouldn't be throwing pill recommendations out there cuz I'm no doctor and everyone reacts to drugs differently, but Venlafaxine is really good for this problem in particular I found. All the benefits of anti-depressants (they actually work too) and none of the whisky dick. I actually felt my libido improve on it, and orgasms actually felt BETTER (never used to moan/make orgasm noises when I climaxed, I pretty much cant stop myself from making sound on arrival now). It took a LOT of trial and error of different medication to discover this, which is why im throwing it out there. --- please help ... Copied to Clipboard!
