Stafford @ MIN, Wentz @ LAC, or Siemian at home vs OAK?

I currently have Stafford and Luck, trying to hold Luck til he gets back but it's becoming increasingly difficult with some of the bad matchups Stafford has early on this season. I guess I could drop Luck, but I'm considering dropping Stafford for one of these guys and just streaming QBs until Luck returns.

Thoughts? Pretty standard QB scoring in our league btw.

Wentz @ LAC would be my call. Chargers D is nothing special. That said, Stafford has a tendency to put up points even on decent defenses like the Vikings.

Semen should never be considered a QB1 option. He can have good games, but that's in spite of his mediocrity.

I'd go Wentz.

Wtf happened to your draft that these are your options?

I agree with above. Wentz is a good choice, as is Stafford. Lists I've seen mostly have those two ranked near each other so it's really a toss up. Siemian is a lower tier QB by every measure I've seen, but he still has his weeks. I think any choice is justifiable and making the absolute best one is impossible to predict.

I was the last person to take a QB. I always try to be the last to take one, but I did fuck up taking Luck. Also nearly everyone in our league is a moron and has 2-3 QBs on their roster at all times even when they have Rodgers / Brees / Brady. So that didn't help.

Or WR RB RB

Meant RB QB RB

The way I see it, there are at best 10 quality starting QB and the rest are mediocre to decent. Closer to 20 RB but the same difference. There are 90 starting WR on each team total, and typically 2 are worth starting, so there's 60 of those right off the bat. A lot of WR emerge and can be plucked off of waivers if you pay attention, much more commonly than a QB or a RB. There are many more viable options at WR opposed to QB and RB, which is why I never spend any of my first 3 picks on a WR.

Our league is full point PPR. I went WR WR WR TE WR my first 5 rounds. I regret that 4th WR at this point since it was Allen Robinson and he didn't even make it one game without getting injured but a WR / TE heavy team dominates our league every year. The winner isn't ever the one to draft Leveon Bell or Demarco Murray or whatever the top backs are. It's the one to get 3 WRs and a TE who get 10+ targets per game and a couple PPR backs like Woodhead or Sproles.

And I disagree with taking a QB early. Even top QBs have clunker games and the difference between the 1st and 12th QB is never big enough to justify sacrificing real depth at more injury prone positions.

Why do you have 3 QBs.

Also dropping Stafford was probably the worst move to have made.

Damn dude did you not read any of my post? I have Luck and Stafford.

I haven't dropped anyone yet either. Just considering my options this week since I don't like Stafford @MIN.

We use a messed up system, but Stafford is like...top 5 so I can't imagine he's too low in standard scoring, and Sunday is likely going to be a game where he's playing from behind, which usually leads to high scores (even if they aren't wins).

Stafford is 8th in our league. Wentz is 4th. Siemian is 9th. I'm thinking of dropping either Stafford or Luck for Wentz. Is it really worth holding onto Luck?

Yeah, well you're the one having a hard time figuring out that you should start Stafford instead of 2 bums and an injured QB.

Several analysts have both those guys above Stafford this week, hence the question.

So shut the hell up and get out of my topic.

So is mine, I didn't take a WR til the 4th round. I'm the only undefeated team in the league right now of 12 teams. Brady has basically single handedly won me week 2 and 3 also, having a strong QB is extremely important, plus i'm not faced with who to start against who except for the one bye week. I've also been in this league for 14 seasons.

Do not drop Stafford. He is a reliable, high-scoring fantasy QB. Ride him out until Luck comes back and then play it game by game. Never trust Semen.
