The most they get into it are a few lines about Holt being a gay black cop in the 80s. Which is something i applaud them for because they address the fact but they dont over preach it or dwell on it --- The night brims with defiled scum,and is permeated by their rotten stench. They have a show where one of the most popular characters is a cartoon pedophile but a brief appearance of a cannibal is what you consider shark jumping? it wasn't brief. he was one of the main characters of the episode, appearing the whole time. it wasn't a quick joke in one scene. he kept showing up. and talked to the main character the entire episode. anyway, the cartoon pedophile is portrayed differently. there is no doubt that guy is bad. they don't show him as charming. this guy on Brooklyn 99 acts like a normal guy. you wouldn't even know he was a child killer if he didn't admit to it on the show. basically they made a character that is a child murderer but is like a typical sitcom character. he's sympathetic and nice and funny. and he eats kids.
