That sounds way better than Brotherhood. Throughout the story there's barely interaction between Envy and our protagonist. Then we get a resolution of:
Ed: *comfortingly places hand on Envy's shoulder* "I get you" *Envy suicides* >__> Like they didn't know what to do with the character after Roy's epic did-something-cool-alone-and-not-fuck-up-for-once. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

I was actually more interested in the ending to the original. It had a lot of nice themes and shit whereas the ending to Brotherhood is pretty much just a big anime fight
