Forget the quality of their games, their business practices and everything else. Just focus on the music from their games throughout their entire career.

The music is by far the most forgettable part of the experience for me and CE's constant mentioning of video game music confuses me.

Nintendo, Square (Enix) and Capcom are probably the top 3 out of the big development houses.
I think Konami deserve a top 5 spot too, for Castlevania, Contra, Metal Gear and others. Finally, I'd add Sega, for Sonic, Streets of Rage, Shinobi and many others. Atlus and Falcom are honorable mentions. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Squarsoft and nintendo, they're hardly the only good ones, but they're the ones that stand out to me the most.

Even though I hate them, I have to say Capcom. MvC, Ace Attorney, Megaman, Dmc have some of the most creative songs

I'd have to say Square Enix, they have all my favourite games (only taking music into account). All the way from Chrono Trigger with Yasunori Mitsuda and Nobuo Uematsu, to Kingdom Hearts with Yoko Shimomura.

Hunnid P did the rap songs for all of Knuckle's levels in Sonic Adventure 2 Battle
That shit is low key high quality rap music. Definitely better than the mainstream stuff of today and as far as lyricism, flow, and beat quality, stands up to any Golden Age Hip Hop in my opinion.
