This is what happens when you try to make a top 100 list when you should be making a top 10 list, and have limited gaming experience.

I've played games with bosses that took me 8+ hours of attempts to beat, and not even on the hardest difficulty. Their fights last 15 minutes minimum. And I don't even play actually crazy hard games like those hardcore bullet hell games that you have to clear on limited lives (I do play Touhou, but I'm talking about the really hardcore ones).

You would think that they would pick the final battle against Bowser in SM64. That fight actually got pretty difficult in the last round when collapses the arena into a star shape.

Armstrong was super hard the first time but not so bad after you get used to him. I S Ranked him my first try on Revengeance. Now Armstrong as Sam was a whole different story. Of course every fight was hard as Sam.

Vortex Queen deserves way better placement than 94.

Not sure how I feel about Colossus 16 at 89. It was more extremely irritating than deadly. I dunno if that counts as hard.

Yeah I had a surprisingly tough time with Shadow Queen. Not even remotely as tough as my first time against Armstrong though.

Kurt Zisa at #70 is probably about right. Tough, but nothing crazy.

Lavos at 61? He was tough before realizing the one on the right was the "real" one, but he definitely belongs further down in the list. Definitely after Kurt Zisa for sure.

Psycho Mantis doesn't belong on the list at all. Are you kidding me? I have literally beaten him without even using the controller port exploit, using only punches.

Ultimecia was no pushover but doesn't belong in the 50's. Maybe the upper 90's. Maybe.

Same with Giygas.

Liquid was tough on Extreme, but that was the only time. I definitely wouldn't put him ahead of Armstrong if on the list at all. Tougher than Mantis, at least.

Wood Man at #42? If you're trying to fight him buster-only, sure. In fsct, in that case you coukd rank him higher. But you can one-shot him with the right weapon.

Colossus 10 doesn't not belong on the list at all, wtf. He was one of my favorites, actually, but not because of difficulty. Nothing in SotC belongs on the list except maybe 16.

Spider Guardian, absolutely not. WTF. One of the tougher bosses i. the game but that isn't saying much. The boost guardian was harder, tbh.

Culex at 32? He belongs down past Kurt Zisa, about where Lavos is.

I'm ok with Dark Link at 30 but mostly because I never did figure out how to actually beat him. It just kind of... happened. After several tries.

Death Egg Robot is too high, but I'm ok with him being on the list.

Omega Weapon. Now we're talking. #25 is decent placement. I might even go a little higher. You can cheese it with hero drinks if you really want to do all that but he's a pretty good challenge otherwise. Even with Angel Wing Meteor. I eventually beat him by lucking out on the Phoenix Pinion three times in a row.

Shadow Link is much too high. Maybe put him in the 80's or so.

The End? I kinda think these guys are conflating "tedious" and "tough." The End was a great fight though, and doesn't have to be either if you take advantage of its nicer features. Maaaaaybe somewhere in the 90's but probably not even.

Riku II does not belong above Kurt Zisa. That's madness. Tough for sure though. Maybe 70's.

M. Bison at 14 is much deserved. Guy was so tough.

Yellow Devil belongs in the 60's tbh, even without select trick. Takes some practice to get the timing down but not that bad once you do. Don't forget he's weak to Thunder Beam and you can actually get hit several times.

Sephiroth, lolno. Not even as tough as Ultimecia.

Emerald at #5 is a decent choice. I might move him down just a few spots. 10 at most.

No Hiruko, no MM7 Wily, no Deathborn, no Ruby Weapon, no Yatsurao, no Moritsune, no Vortex Queen II, no KH Phantom, no FE7 dragon...

This is exactly the sort of thing I was referring to in my post. This kind of thing is so much harder than anything on their entire list it isn't even funny. Even "light" bullet hell games have much harder final bosses than basically anything on that list.

Well, I actually agree with that. I only ever fought OoK with Ludwig's Holy blade, so maybe my frame of reference is a bit skewed, but he just died so much quicker than NK, and his attacks are so much easier to avoid because of the dodging in BB (plus camera). That is definitely one of those "might be hard for some people, and easy for others" situations, so I can see the argument either way.

You can do it but it's actually pretty hard. I mean you can also beat the Asylum Demon with just the broken sword but that's basically masochism.

Well, I actually agree with that. yep, I have killed orphan of kos using the hunter axe normal mode and the kirkhammer hammer mode, orphan is much easier to me than nameless king.

I mean, if you don't abuse it, he dodges six hits in a row and gets hit by the seventh. Seeing as you csn dodge all but teo of his attacks by just going prone (and it takes some pretty bad luck to get hit by one of those two), it's not like it's hard not to die.

Mike Tyson should be higher IMO. I had to scum restore points during the fight to beat him.

Flamelurker is hard if you go in completely blind, but I think Maneaters were way worse.
