Night time is so much better for me.

Know what I love doing? Staying up at 10:00pm at night, drinking a nice iced coffee beverage (so you can stay up all night) and just playing away until the crack of dawn. Usually talking to a few friends on facebook or skype helps alot too.

Nighttime, definitely. I live in a house of windows, and even with the shades drawn it makes a huge difference playing at night, especially in dark areas. Gaming until 4-5 am used to be really great (though I could only stay up that late rarely); but after I got older and my sleep habits changed, I just have to ask myself 'what the hell was I thinking?' whenever I stay up that late gaming.

I actually remember on very rare occasions as a kid waking up at 4 or 5 in the morning and playing all the way through Mario 2, 3, or Contra before my normal wakeup time for school. That was pretty magical.

While I like to play during the night because no glare, I do most of my gaming during the daytime because blue light really irritates my eyes in a dark room.

I usually game single player stuff during the day on my two off days, and always night game online with friends when everyone is home from work.

Just about anything is better at night imo.
