The point is he wants to feel powerful. He wants security in knowing that if someone tries to unseat him that it will blow up in their faces.

Can you answer why he'd ever actually attack a country? What could he possibly gain by killing a bunch of people only to have him and his entire home country pancaked? Kim is baiting us. We're empowering him by sinking to his level. He knows damn well that he's got China at his back unless he fires first.

Because his family's dream is to unite the entirety of Korea under their iron rule and they tried that in the past which is why we had the Korean War.

Tourists who visited North Korea were told that the USA attacked Korea because they were afraid of a united Korea.

Anyone being honest sees what he wants with the nukes. He wants to invade South Korea and enslave their population and take their wealth and use Nukes as deterrence to prevent allied help.
