My previous TV was a 32-inch 720p Bravia. I upgraded to a 43-inch 4K/HDR LG smart TV. I've noticed immediately when playing games that everything is darker and duller. I've adjusted all the picture settings for hours and hours, and I still can't replicate anything from before. For example, the eShop menu on the Switch has this deep, dark orange color, as opposed to the bright orange from before.

I've switched to Game Mode, turned up the backlight brightness, and done other things, but I can never replicate the vibrance it had before, either on my old TV or Switch's screen.

It's off, so the backlight can be on 100%. With that said, the screen auto-dims at some points, which is bizarre.

What game mode does is decrease light and things like that to give the best possible image, while lowering input lag.

Is there any way I can lower input lag while on a different mode?

That is odd. I'm on a really old LG TV, so I can't help much sadly.

I did find this article. Dunno if it'll help.

Dynamic Contrast was turned off as well. It still looks weird.
