Aggron pros: extremely strong, gets ice beam, looks fucking awesome.

Aggron negatives: Doesn't evolve til late game, Aron isn't as strong.

Claydol pros: Can learn its best moves right away, has levitate.

Claydol negatives: mostly a defensive Pokemon not very good for in-game, Dusclops does everything it does ten times better.

Why is getting Ice Beam a pro for Aggron? Claydol learns it too and Aggron has shit for Sp. Atk.

If it is for in-game, use Aggron otherwise use Claydol if you are going for competitive.

Aggron.

Mine has:

Nature - Jolly
Ability - rock head
Held item - focus sash

Head smash
Iron head
Autotomize
Power up punch

I've swept teams with this set.

I'm sorry dude but in Gen 3 unless you are willing to waste an earthquake TM Sandslash sucks. It's much better in later gens when it gets dig by level up and gets Shadow Claw and Crush Claw.
