Raymond “Ray” Terrill is described as “a reporter who discovered a group of government scientists working on a secret project to turn light into a weapon of mass destruction. But before he could report on his findings, the project head exposed Ray to a ‘genetic light bomb.’ The bomb failed to kill him and instead gifted Ray with light-based powers. With these abilities, Ray realized he could go beyond reporting on injustice — he could take action to help stop it. Calling himself The Ray, he was recruited by Uncle Sam and the Freedom Fighters to fight violence and oppression wherever it exists.” Russell Tovey is a fantastic actor, so I'm pretty excited for this. The episode that aired before election day had the female VP being lined up to become the first female President... and then the subsequent episodes revolved around another politician destroying her reputation with corrupt practices and wrangling himself to become president, and he turns out to be in bed with terrorists or something... idk I stopped paying as much attention because the entire focus of the show turned into the characters trying to get other politicians to change their votes or something, completely ditching the majority of what the first half of the season was about. <cite>Raikuro posted [p:887158250] in Gay actor ... The episode that aired before election day had the female VP being lined up to become the first female President... and then the subsequent episodes revolved around another politician destroying her reputation with corrupt practices and wrangling himself to become president, and he turns out to be in bed with terrorists or something... idk I stopped paying as much attention because the entire focus of the show turned into the characters trying to get other politicians to change their votes or something, completely ditching the majority of what the first half of the season was about.</quote> ...
