Someone gave me an explanation but I forgot. Had something to do with eggs or something. Some exploit you can do in crystal that would ruin the integrity of the online game play

Are you serious? Literally tons of people use Pokehex or whatever on hacked 3DSes and they're worried about dumb eggs from an old ass game?

I still own the Red, Yellow, Gold and Crystal carts myself, so I may replay one (probably Crystal), if the batteries are still working (doubtful).

I'm watching a Yellow Let's Play (https://www.youtube.cm/watch?v=K8Hcv8fzUxU) ATM. It's pretty good. I've learned a lot of shit about the game from it that I didn't know. He's going to do a Crystal LP next.

Well, their wish has been granted. :P This would also seem to make Nintendo's justification for not releasing Crystal a bit dumb, since this glitch works in G/S and not C.

You're gonna have to post more details on this one. There's no online play in these VC games, and the Pokebank transfer would detect illegal moves on Pokemon you try to transfer to Sun/Moon. So how would that be a problem at all?

Well like I said I don't remember exactly what the reason was. Part of it is I am not a big expert on Pokemon. I just remember someone telling me there was an issue with crystal when I complained about no crystal release. If I figure it out I'll post more

Nah, that seems pretty bull shit. There are plenty of shinies you get handed to you for certain pokemon. I don't think they give a fuck about those pokemon

Plus some hacker found references to Crystal in the eshop, so they're probably saving it for later so that people actually buy gold/silver instead of just immediately jumping on Crystal lol
