I deleted the app from my phone
And while I still use Messenger (because it's useful) I only use the actual FB website like maybe once a day just to check business shit. Turn off all ad tracking in settings and set autoplay to 'Never'. That's only way to make Facebook barely tolerable these days.

I've noticed that 100% of my feed these days are shares from websites like Buzzfeed and posts from 2012 with "awww, remember this!?" captions.

I uninstalled the Facebook app months ago because all it ever did was completely lock up my phone and run the battery down to 0. And even when it was working, the feed would never refresh or scroll down past a certain point.

I never had FB on my phone. It was just too annoying to use and it did not have a setting saying:
