You know over the past half a year or longer, football has been in the off season. But now it's back in season. But what we need to do with in our walk with Christ and our relationship with him, is not put that area of our life into the off season, now that football's back in season.

As a football fan, it's really easy for us to be able to spit out numbers, and stats and figures. But are we able to spit out different scriptures, chapters, and different verses? It's easy for us to name players: past, present, and even people who are being recruited to play two years from now. But are we able to tell people about the apostles and the New Testament and the prophets and the Old Testament? We know a team by the colors that they wear on their jersey or what their helmet looks like or their mascots. But would we know what Christianity really truly looked like if it was right here in front of our eyes?
