I don't know if anybody else has any knowledge of the plot, but if you do, I want to vent. I watched a translation LP a bit past the end of the first chapter before realizing that hey, these games come out in English now and I could just wait for that.
...But Chapter 1 killed my hype as fast as I've ever seen. I'm a pianist myself, so I was extremely excited for Akamatsu. I also couldn't stand Saehara. I tried to keep pushing, but I just couldn't talk myself into an entire game of his PoV. I don't even know if I'm going to bother buying V3 when it gets released, and can't decide if I care about avoiding spoilers. I loved the first two, and I even liked the anime and some of the fan-translated side materials, but that bait and switch took so much wind out of my sails that it even dented my enthusiasm for the rest of the franchise. How do you feel about it, theoretical audience who played it in Japanese or got spoiled or whatever? How much am I over-reacting? I've heard good things about the game- is the rest still worth pushing through? --- Can you imagine a piece of the universe more fit for princes and kings? The problem is the racism against cute Pokemon.- Luster Soldier ... Copied to Clipboard!
