a miserable waste of $200

the actual answer is it's a reference to my favorite game, Earthbound. When I set out to make a username for this website in 2004 I wanted something gaming related but not SUPER obvious, so I went with this. Unfortunately this was just a few years before the "cult of apple" started growing, and eventually the name started to look less quirky (or for cool folks, like an earthbound reference) and more like I was some kinda Apple fanboy

now it's 2017 and it's like, I don't particularly like apple and I'm not particularly a kid, why am I even using this name? lol

honestly I'm not here to try to sell anybody on it. If you don't have a nostalgic attachment to it (or to oldschool RPGs) you'd probably be so turned off by the old gameplay that even the charm of the game won't be enough to make it entertaining. And that's fine! As long as there's other stuff you like, we can all be happy :D

I haven't seen it ever since but I swear to god I repositioned my chair/desk so I can have my feet elevated under my desk without it being so obvious to my coworkers. That spider isn't gonna touch me!

but also I can relate, there was a dang MUKADE in my shower once and I screamed and just started spraying it like crazy
