I'm not sure what to make of this.

The last time we talked was a literal decade ago (as of Aug. 29) when we were both in college and happened to pass by each other one random day.

I'm worried she's down on her luck and is looking for some sucker to be her crutch but at the same time if she's really interested in being friends, I might have a shot at something.

Were you good friends in high school? I couldn't imagine this happens a lot irl, people from my high school, especially the girls, were super passive-aggressive in not wanting to see any of us again lol.

I was awkward in high school and was a front-runner for "most likely to snap" but my recollection is we didn't have much interaction (and most of what I do remember was civil).

As long its genuine and not one of those "we need to hang out more" meaningless courtesy phrases when you coincidentally bump into each other, you might as well meet up once and see what she wants and see how it goes from there.

I will say she said she can't drive until March so I'd have to give her a ride. Is that a red flag?

That's kind of weird considering you say you weren't good friends. Maybe she thinks you turned out pretty well after randomly seeing you and is interested

I would meet her and see where it goes from there. Don't put any weight on it, just have a good time.

As for her driving, its not necessarily a bad thing, it could turn into one but that is more of a you question to answer because it about your standards when it comes to others driving.
