I read the book but it was like 5 years ago and I can't remember who commits suicide when It returns when they are adults. which guy was it? Does anyone remember? Just saw the movie yesterday and this has been on my mind

I know it wasn't Ben or Bill or Michael. but that's it

the movie is only part 1 with them as kids. part 2 is when they have to gather together again because It came back when they are adults

Oh really? The new movie is only kids? That's really strange. So it's only part 1?

yea. they split it into 2 films. the second movie will be mostly about the adults. but apparently the kid actors are returning too because there will be some flashback scenes with new stuff from the kid time. It's my most anticipated movie for 2018. they claim they will be rushing it out as soon as they an because they need the kid actors to still look the same. so they don't want to wait too long and they hope to have it out by December 2018 at the latest

That's still a year... I find that really strange. Pretty big balls for them to do that before they knew it would be a hit. Could have been alienating.
