What I always found weird in gay world (same for both us lesbians and gay men), is when one type hooks up with the same type.

For example when a butch lesbian hooks up with another butch lesbian. You like who you like, but come on.

I find it strange that a gay man would want to be with a feminine dude. May as well just be with a chick at that point. Or a woman being with a butch lesbian, may as well just be with a dude.

But to each their own.

That is because each sex has a certain essence that isn't masked by mannerisms, behavior, or even basic appearance.

As I've explained it before, a woman, even a butch woman, will have the je ne sais quoi of a woman regardless of how butch she is. Otherwise, the person you are talking about would just be straight.

I dunno... Ill have to take your word for it. Ive seen some gay dudes that didnt have an ounce of that je ne sais quoi of actually being a man from what I could see, and the same with some lesbians.

Are you a straight guy? :u If so, that might be why you don't get it. I've definitely picked up on it myself. Like, the difference between a girl and a guy is pretty apparent to me no matter what, gay or straight.

The age difference is making me a bit hesitant but my initial impression is that he got great potential to be a good boyfriend. We hit it off well and he seems like a guy who would be dedicated in a relationship (like me). If I didn't find him interesting as a person then I wouldn't see him again though so I must admit I'm curious about him.
