Heh, yeah. He's always hated me, I don't know why. He'd tried other methods to get rid of me in the past. At least twice he tried, I'm thinking he was probably also behind a 3rd but I'm not certain about that.
First for certain time, I was severely hurt in a car accident. The doctors didn't do their jobs(never even got examined) and ended up with gangrene in my intestines. I needed surgery to live, and my dad refused to sign the consent form(I was 9). He told the doctors to just let me die. If my mom hadn't thrown such a fit at the time, I'd be dead because of him.
The time I called 911 he decided he needed to just do it directly. He always threatened me and my mom with death if we did anything to upset him, and he had bullets with our names written on them. He always said one day he was just going to kill us and go on with his life like we never existed. I never left my room, and felt like a prisoner. One night my mom came into my room and watched a movie with me, and for some reason that set him off. I heard them arguing in the other room, he didn't want her spending any time with me. So he decided that night was the night, and he was going to kill us. He and my mom got in a fight with her trying to stop him from loading the gun, I rushed out and joined in. He turned on me and started trying to beat me to death. I fought back, but my mom was holding my arms(thinking I'd make things worse somehow if I fought back). So he got the upper hand and began strangling me, and biting my arms and hands when I tried pushing him off. I managed to break free and called 911 real quick, but he tackled me and smashed the phone. Thankfully he was too afraid of being caught red handed by the cops, and he calmed down.
Sometimes I wonder if it would've been better to let him kill me then.
No, he didn't go to jail. The coos showed up really late, like an hour later after going to the wrong address first. Then my mom wouldn't tell them what happened, my dad was saying nothing happened, and I was saying he was a psycho trying to kill us. My brother didn't say anything at all. The cops wrote it off as a simple domestic disturbance, then told my mom and me that we had to leave. >_> So we went to the magistrate's office and filed a complaint there. He gave us a restraining order and sent the cops back to remove him instead. When they got there, he was watching porn.
Anyway, he texted my mom the next day and said he slept in his truck and was cold and hungry, so she let him come back. >_> He had family he could stay with, he just didn't want to explain that he got kicked out. I was an adult then. I should've pressed charges myself. ---
