As tempting as it sounds, I'm almost certainly underestimating how miserable the first 16 years of life would be with the memories of a 28 year old. All of your peers would be super-immature. And I puberty again. All those hormones...

Yes. The early years would be tough for reasons already stated but there are so many ways I could become filthy rich. Gambling, stock market, get in on the ground floor of Bitcoin, etc. Once I hit 18 the second time around it's basically coasting.

Well obviously you have to start as a child again, but you can't be 4 years old with all the memories of an adult.

Do the memories hit you at once or do they gradually come to you? Memories are what make you YOU. If your memories were stripped you would become a different person.

I'd be fucking with kids so hard growing up. They'd come to school talking about "I can't wait to get a Wii!" And I'd hit em with the "Just you wait until the Nintendo Switch hits stores."

Then I would walk away without ever elaborating.

I'd certainly give it a try.

Biggest issue would be that there wouldn't really be any movies, tv shows, or video games to look forward to, as I've seen it before. But then again, by the time things come out, a lot of time will have passed, so it could end up being refreshing in ways.

But if I could use my memories to change things for the better, it definitely would be an appealing idea. Also get to spend more time with lost loved ones. Though it could end up driving me crazy knowing it would be coming....

It would be crazy to have the memories of an adult as a 1 year old though. You'd be way too smart for your age and would never be able to connect with other people your age once you started school.

You can make meaningful connections with people older than you.

And personally, I would interact with the kids my age. I'd know where some of them are going, and I could steer people in a good direction. I'd better myself, and help my peers better themselves too.

I meant stuff like introducing people to certain music, or talking them through something they're struggling with. It's called subtlety.
