I'm 100% confident that I have an anxiety disorder, as I have suffered all the symptoms for my entire life, but I've never sought treatment for it.

A lot of mine used to come from worrying about things outside of my control, like a ton of shit at work. Just have to realize you can't control like 90% of the shit that happens and accept it. No clue if that actually applies to you or not.

Nowadays I'm pretty bad, lots of OCD related anxiety and I'm pretty much agoraphobic at this point.

Music or maybe a video game. Something to calm me down. A small vacation always works wonders for me. Zero anxiety when I'm away from home.

Both of which add to it, but it provides some comfort in the meantime.

For me I sucked it up and started lifting and putting on size. Everyone's solution to solving the puzzle of anxiety is different. It's crazy what the brain can do to you but you have to remember the brain is so strong and that usually on and off symptoms are typically anxiety.

For me I was paranoid I was sick or something was wrong with me. I went to the hospital for something unrelated to anxiety. Surprisingly my CF never gets me anxious cause I take care of myself well. So the doctor used that opportunity to get CT scan which I needed anyway to prove to me I was fine. With the evidence in front of me I had to accept that my brain especially the unconscious brain is a lot stronger than we think it is and that it can control signals in your brain and replicate real fears and symptoms.

I accepted it and rather than look for a way to make it stop I accepted it and looked for a way to live with it. Soon after that I just forgot it.

Side Note: I'm prettys sure most everyone feels this way.
The catch is, most people won't admit it, and or they surround themselves in the trappings of being 'normal'

It's okay to not always feel, 'right'. That is the human condition.
That's who we are.

Both of which add to it, but it provides some comfort in the meantime.

For me staying up late is the worst thing I can do for it because when I have down time and am just alone with myself at night time that's usually when it gets pretty bad.

But to give more of an answer than I gave in my op, I do things just not healthy things, such as compartmentalization and denial. I basically just try to keep myself busy with things at all times, even if it's just shit posting here, to try to keep myself from being able to have any down time to think about it. It doesn't really work great but ehh.
I drink heavily when it gets especially bad to just not have to deal with it, if drinking isn't an option right then I'm just kinda boned. I also just shut myself off from people a lot in general.

But I also have severe depression mixed with the anxiety and other things.

Ya, that's what i'm saying. Staying up late add to it. But in the mean time, at least no one can bother you. Just like drinking, you can get a little faded, but it's only killing time, really.

I've always felt like it's something I can deal with on my own. You're right though.

This is a good description.

It affects everybody differently but for me I worry about and overanalyze everything. I worry about my health, my job, my social life, my family, my friends, even when there's nothing worth worrying about. I have dark thoughts and then I worry about why I have those thoughts. Oftentimes it feels like there's always something over the horizon that I'm dreading. It sucks.
