Meh. It has all the stupid paranormal stereotypcs and it turned off for me.

Skeptical non believers
Ghost only shares itself sparingly and works on fear
Little kids involved


I guess just those 3 off the top of my head but that's enough me to give it like a 4/10.

I will note, though, that most horror movies aren't that great. I'd say only 1-3 out of 10 end up being really good.

I found it quite scary my first time, but I was also watching it alone and high.

Rewatched it once or twice afterwards and still thought it was a really good movie, but naturally it wasn't as scary after knowing what to expect.

Eh, I'm a bit of a wimp to be honest. The Ring and The Grudge terrified the living shit out of me.

Yeah, that's the most common complaint I hear about the movie.

They're definitely unpleasant (especially the damn kid), but it's an important part of their characters. Like, they're both clearly walking the line of mental illness. It makes the viewer and the supporting characters question whether the monster is real; more so than most other similar horror movies (Child's Play, etc.).

It's a really bad movie. It's basically a meme to like it.

Good story. Not in your face scary, but pretty creepy at times. You'll hear lots complaints about the kid, but considering his situation, it's not surprising that he acts that way.

I liked it. It was legit creepy at times. I actually kind of liked how irritating the kid was at first because when the mom went crazy they flipped it around and made you scared for the kid.
