..."full of [far-right] posters/opinions/expressions" when every poll shows the board is majority left and the general atmosphere of the board is highly liberal with constant, stern condemnation of right wing views (especially far right).
Why is this? Is it like a one-drop rule? Any amount taints the whole of the board? Or do they lack self awareness to the point that all these instances of users posting something politically agreeable don't even register with them as taking a stance, so opposing views stick out like a sore thumb? It feels like liberalism is sort of the "default" stance in our society so people with fledgling political views don't really see themselves or others as having political views despite typically leaning liberal. Last poll I saw showed that it was much more equal than you'd expect, with it only leaning slightly left. Combine that with the fact that the far right posters and trolls tend to be much more vocal and obnoxious and you have your answer.
