I admit it was slightly starting to drag just a little inside the second city and then you get captured by Asav and Sam shows up and injects completely new life into the game, he was hilarious.

And then the last third of the game is Uncharted at its very best, balls to the wall excellence. I know it's another train level but they possibly did a train level that was even better than the classic one in UC2 while simultaneously being a better jeep chase than the one in UC4.

Great great great great. If that's it for Uncharted then damn, but also fine, since that's a great ending for the series. I said that about 4 but we'll call this like an epilogue.

I'm most impressed with the use of Sam. He gave the game a huge shot in the arm at the absolute perfect time - would have been fine without him but it shifted the dynamic in a really cool way. Half-Life 2 levels of pacing.

For what's essentially a throwaway or afterthought or whatever you want to refer to it as, LL sure is incredible. Even if the climax is a recycling of ideas, it's beyond thrilling.

Also agreed that Sam was amazing.

That scene shortly after the initial credits was just perfect by the way.

Shit, it made me want to replay the whole series again.

I wonder what scope there is for more studios/franchises to make games like this. Somewhere between DLC and a full release. I guess you could look at those two PSP GTA games or maybe the HL2 episodes as something similar but they're a decade old.
