What didn't you like about it? I've only seen the Simpsons episode based off it, but I know it's a highly-regarded classic.

Thinking about it, I'd probably raise that score to 6/10. There were some things I liked, such as Brando's performance and some of the conflict between the sisters. But overall I couldn't really get into it, and it's one of those movies I wouldn't be able to tell you why.

That's kind of the same way I felt about Logan Lucky, and I also kind of alternated between a 5/10 & a 6/10 for its rating. It wasn't a really flawed movie or anything, but it didn't really elicit any opinions from me that were particularly positive or negative.

I like Rob Zombie a lot. I think he's a talented filmmaker too, but Corpses is very clearly his first film. Not only is it filled with horrible writing, ugly visuals, terrible characters and acting, bizarre cutaways that serve no purpose a derivative plot (it's Texas Chainsaw retold), it's biggest issue is it's insanely boring. Not a single scare to be found. It's too flat to be scary, and too dumb to be clever or satire. It's a mess.

Sid Haig as Spaulding is the only good thing in the movie.
