Faxanadu for NES is of my favourite games.

I want to dabble in the Trails of games and started readin about it.

Faxanadu is great. Way better than Castlevania II and Link's Adventure, IMO.

I looked into this too a while back. It's mind-boggling how massive the series grew to without anyone even realizing it's a series.

it is. i never played the othe rlegend of heroes games aside from trails though.

basically they are divided into 3 main series plus spinoffs:

legend of heroes 1/2: dragon slayer duology

legend of heroes 3,4,5: gargahv trilogy

legend of heroes 6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13: trails of series (which is the biggest and most ambitious one and has 3 sub series)

- trails in the sky (aka liberl arc)
-trails from zero ( fuck it, i will just use the fan translation as canon title unless xseed/falcom said so) and trails to azure (aka crossbell arc)
-trails of cold steel ( aka erebonia arc)

future games planned : the obvious calvard republic arc, then some finale arc maybe, maybe we get the holy city of arteria arc, or leman state arc then some grand finale to conclude the series.


there are also tons of spinoff and crossover with ys and some mobile games that i lost of track of. lmao.

the series is huge.
