Imagine you worked for in sales for a company whose clients are corporations. You are sent to a potential client in order to sell your product to them. You go into your sales pitch, and you say, to the female CEO: "I believe in two things, this product, and boobs."

Do you not think you would a.) get kicked the fuck out of that location, and b.) fired before you even made it back to your company?

Professionalism doesn't go out the window just because you are on TV. In fact, you should be more careful on TV, because it goes out to millions.

Have you read her article? Claiming she had guests from all walks of life, many she didn't agree with. Yet she kept her professionalism. Same should apply here.
Professional: "Sir, I don't believe that your adoration for that part of the female anatomy applies to the topic at hand" or even "Wow....okaaaay, moving on"
What she did: "Well, I have never. I am shocked and appalled" and she diverted the focus on the actual subject to her personal outrage. It's supposed to be impartial, not the Daily Show.
