The special stage in Sonic 2 is actually 3D now and runs at 60fps. Once you play the android version of these special stages, it's hard to go back to the old ones >__>

Yeah, I noticed that too. I was playing them and I was like, "wait, this looks a bit different" and then realized it was smoother and the half-pipe was 3D. That might be why I was thrown off a bit.

I like it way more imo. The stutter of the old one is too hard to go back too, plus I feel like the bombs and rings sneak up on you more in the old version too.
