No. In he same way I dislike origin and despise uplay, just use steam and get on with your life-we don't care about your company enough to put up with your proprietary nonsense.

If Bethesda ever mandates the use of their own client in the future, I cannot support them. I already refuse to buy an Ubisoft title until they discontinue Uplay. Which is a shame, because I'd love to play their games.

Probably not unless it was the only way to get a game. It's like EA Origin. Most game companies just don't have the catalogue to run a gaming service.
