FF_Redux 09/14/17 4:35:23 PM #1:	Remember how ppl thought DOOM was gonna suck in 2016 with the multiplayer etc. But game delivered as fuck. IT has the kinda same thing, the first image of Pennywise, and the whole Cary Fukanaga dropping out etc was making people doubt the movie. But the reason ppl were hyped for him was cuz of True Detective season 1. I've never seen that show, but his script was shit to start with and then it just kept getting worse with each draft. He wanted Stan to be a goldfish. A fucking goldfish. I don't care if his previous work was any good. People thought it would fail because of preexisting assumptions (multiplayer in Doom's case, fan service for Nier) and yet both delivered immensely in all of the other categories that weren't already judged in advance. --- Joffery Baratheon did nothing wrong.
