1. A lot of them do, and 2. Technically they shouldn't have to pay taxes anyway since they can't vote in federal elections and haven't got any voice in Congress. No taxation without representation, remember? It seems like jokers in the GOP have forgotten these founding principles in favor of just bashing and otherizing people from different countries trying to make a good life for theyself.

I don't see why we can't have open borders between the US and Mexico with freedom of movement and freedom of work from one country to the other. We can still have external borders to check people coming into Mexico and America for counterterrorism and criminal activity, but the US and Mexico are friendly nations and there is no reason why one should persecute the other.
